Major Accident Leaves Four Dead

On Wednesday April 15, there was a major accident in Las Vegas and four people died.

According to North Las Vegas police, the accident happened at about 5 p.m. on a shortcut between two freeways.

A yellow Nissan 350Z, being driven by a 28 year old Las Vegas man, was speeding on Lamb from Centennial Parkway, which is a 45 mph zone. He then lost control of the vehicle and went into oncoming traffic, hitting two vehicles. The first vehicle was a silver Toyota Camry and the second was a white Ford F 150, both of which were travelling south on Lamb.

The driver of the Toyota was a 56 year old woman from North Las Vegas and she, along with her two passengers, a 50 year old man and a 26 year old woman, both also from Las Vegas, were all pronounced dead at the scene. The 30 year old man in the Ford suffered only minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment. The driver of the Nissan was critically injured and was taken to University Medical Center where he later died.
