A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Wednesday in Bullhead City.
The serious motorcycle accident happened at the intersection of Highway 95 and 7th Street when 94 year old Carmelita Mary Otly, of Bullhead City, who was driving a 2008 white Buick La Crosse, failed to yield when she was making a left turn into the Post Office driveway.
A motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was riding northbound on the highway and hit the Buick. The 44 year old Bullhead City man, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by helicopter to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where his injuries are said to be serious.
Otly only received minor injuries and was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.
Police have said that the accident is still under investigation but there is a possibility of citations.
